Glass: Pandas in Spring 14 1/2" tray

This 14 1/2" fused glass Pandas in Spring tray is an original work of art. Gayle draws the original design and then painstakingly reworks her drawings until the design will work in fused glass form. Next she cuts and grinds the glass pieces to fit into a mosaic of her design. She assembles the glass for fusing and fully fuses the first two layers of glass at 1500 degrees F. She cuts the leaves and stems and applies them to the fused surface as the third raised layer to create depth and texture in the bowl. She then tack fuses the third layer onto the first two fully fused layers of glass. Finally the glass is slumped into the tray form. Call for shipping quote regular rates do not apply.
