Glass: Seascape with base and brackets

Seascape is a fused glass sculpture (15" wide and 13" high) resting on a black walnut wood base (20" long) sculpted as a stylized seashell with bronze brackets sculpted in the shape of stylized nautilus shells. This is an original one of a kind glass piece and an original one of a kind wood sculpture. The brackets are Gayle's original sculptures but will be used again with other glass art. Gayle cuts and assembles pieces of glass to form into a mosaic of her design and then fully fuses the glass. Next layers of glass are tack fused onto the design to add dimension to the artwork. Finally the glass is slumped onto an S curve form. Then she sculpts a black walnut wood base to hold and enhance the glass art. Call for shipping quote regular rates do not apply.
